About Geoff Steurer:

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist, relationship educator, and coach with over 24 years of experience. My guest this week is Hank Smith, speaker, author, and professor, who did his doctoral research on building trust in relationships. We dive into the research on what it takes to build trust in our close relationships, especially after trust has been damaged. Hank shares stories, examples, and some really helpful acronyms to help us remember key principles in building trust with others. This is part one of a two-part interview. Dr. Henry “Hank” Smith grew up the son of a golf professional in sunny St. George, Utah. After earning a Bachelor’s Degree from Dixie State University, Hank earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Utah State University and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Brigham Young University, where he is an Assistant Professor of Ancient Scripture.

Hank enjoys speaking , writing, and podcasting, especially for members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

His weekly podcast followHIM with Hank Smith and John Bytheway is enjoyed by millions across the globe and shares the gospel of Jesus Christ.
